Yesterday was "Beautification Day" for mama (hair and nail salon), Maya does mama's hair and sister Amy does her nails. Mama packs snacks for Mimi and she has a good time with the ladies at the salon. They adore Mimi and she adores them too.By the time we got home it was already 3:00 p.m. and Erin had called for a playdate. So over to Erin's house we walked. Mimi and Erin just love playing with each other. Mama had a good time too with Janet. It is nice to have adult conversation sometimes. We stayed for a couple of hours then it was time to head home for dinner. I'm so happy that we don't have to drive and it only takes less than 5 minutes to walk to each other's home's.
When we arrived home Blake had called for Mimi to come over to his house. Our Mimi is quite the social butterfly. So mama popped the dinner into the toaster oven and got the gohan (rice) cooking and over to Blake's house we went. It is still hot and humid at 6:00 p.m. so therefore Mimi and Blake went to "Relax in Mexico" as they call it. Finally at 7:00 p.m. it was time to go home for dinner then bedtime.
