THE SANTA TRAIN

Yesterday was mom's beautification day (hair dresser and nail salon). Fortunately we live very close to both shops so that mom could take Mimi to see Maya (beautician) in the morning, then take her to school and come back to visit with Amy (Maya's sister) and get a pedicure at her nearby nail salon. All of the girls in both shops adore Mimi and she adores them too.

As soon as school let out, all of Mimi's friends and herself headed over to Zoe's for an afternoon playdate. That's when mom found out from Shelley about the Santa Train http://trainmuseum.org/santatrain.asp#Dates in Snoqualimie. Looks and sounds pretty cool. Talked with dad about it and he found out that the tickets are sold out. Doggone it! Oh well, at least we will have something to do next year Christmas. Found out from Shelley this afternoon that the membership tickets are $55.00 per family and they give you 10 tickets to use during their open season. Not a bad deal at all. The Santa train tickets alone are $15.00 per person. Then during the summertime they have a Thomas The Train event going on. Mimi still enjoys playing with her Thomas train set.
