MUD aka MOVE UP DAY

One more day to go. Today was the day the kids found out who their next year teachers are. Halliwell and Zoe are together. Erin is in the "Loop Program" so she will be in the same class with the same teacher as she is now. Then there is Mimi, Blake, Olivia and about 5 kids from Mimi's present class that will be together in Mrs. Davidson's class. Mimi was just a tad bit sad as two of her classmates Emma and Luke are being transfered to Rock Creek Elementary School due to the boundary changes that will be happening this year September.

DEAR SANTA................

Are you reading this dad??? The girl started this list last Sunday. Why wait till the last minute. Let's beat the Christmas rush.

RATATOUILLE CONTINUED

This morning Shannon showed up with his guys to serve Ratatoullie and
family their eviction notice. Stanley went MIA. Apparently he went
down into the crawl space where Ratatouille was living. Stanley nearly
scared the crap out of when he came up from behind me looking like this.

A TOUCHING MOMENT

During intermission at last night's performance, Mimi was stopped by a very nice elderly couple who was very taken by her performance. We chatted for a while and the gentle shared stories of how when he was young his mother would make him practice the very same song of Estralita and his only wish was to go outside and play with his friends.

Later when the recital I congratulated his teenage granddaughter on well she played a lullaby piece. Just as it is a woman's prerogative, she changed her mind after the programs were printed as to what piece she was going to play. Therefore it is not in the program. None the less, it was a beautiful piece to play and the huge church windows with the outdoor trees in the background made the song sound even prettier. The family then went outside to take pictures while the grandfather shared with me about how they (performer's family) lost a young daughter just last month and that this piece was dedicated in memory of her. The grandfather started to tear up and we hugged.
