TEACHER'S REPORT

According to Mimi's teacher,
Mimi is doing pretty good in her schoolwork "However she likes to play
around alot." Hmmm.....we didn't notice. I'm just being sarcastic.

The teacher said the other day another student Ellie, was taking quite
a while coming back to class from washing her hands in the bathroom.
Therefore she sent Mimi to go and get her (wrong child to send in my
humble opinion). Turns out that Ellie was blowing bubbles with the
hand soap and Mimi who was supposed to bring her friend back into the
classroom was joinning her friend in the fun.

THE RACE

Translation: Blake invited me to a race with Alex and Blake and Halli
and Erin and I won the race.

OPEN HOUSE

IT'S THE TIME OF THE SEASON FOR CHANGING

At least that's the way the song goes as I remember it. Everywhere you go you will see a gazillion vibrant colors of red, yellow, gold and brown. In the morning there is a crispness in the air. The sky is a magnificent blue and the salmon are making their yearly trek upstream to spawn.
After dropping Mimi and Blake off at school, I made the trip down to the Auburn Supermall to the Children's Place to buy Mimi more fall/winter clothing. I did buy her school clothes at the beginning of last month and she is just about to grow out of them already. I even bought clothes that were big for her too! She must be going through another growth spurt cause oh man did she ever eat last night night at The Melting Pot.
OK Fratkins, when you come up here next year, I now have a list of places for us to eat at. Not in any special order but so far this is what I have: Mizu, Todai, Salty's, now The Melting Pot. Then there is the old stand-by of Black Diamond and Testy Chef for breakfast.
After the shopping and on the way home I thought that I would check out the Salmon run at Flaming Geiser as tomorrow I am taking Mimi and her friends Sara and Blake to see it. Oh man! Were they ever up and running! The white caps you see in the picture are the Salmon splashing as they swim upstream. These pictures were taken with my iPhone and so I was not able to zoom in or out. What you see is what you get.
