JAPANESE MAIN BUFFET
We went there instead of the movies. Mimi ate and ate to her hearts content.....a huge plate of steamed clams, a bit of general tso chicken and chow mein, THREE bowls of some kind of Chinese soup. No Miso soup available. Where this child puts it is beyond me. I am glad I found this place because with tip, it only cost me $20.00 for the two of us. In most places up here, the steamed clams alone would cost at least $20.00.
CASTING BLUES
Mimi who is normally a very happy-go-lucky kind a gal is starting to feel the effects of what it's like to have a cast on and how depressing it can be.
I noticed this the other day when I went to pick her up from school. Andre and Jack had come to pick up Olivia and Halliwell. Afterwards they all started to play wall ball while Mimi could only look on. That darn near killed her. She soooooooo wanted to run and play with them too but couldn't. Poor baby :-( Plus this rainny weather isn't helping either.
I am thinking that since there are no tests to take today, we will play hooky for the first time in our life and go see the movie Tangled. This should lift her spirits a bit.
