During our recent visit to Virginia, Mimi was the only child in the group so she had a captive audience to her knock knock jokes. She would say them to anyone, anywhere. The only thing is... she's the only one who thinks they're funny and will laugh to herself and say "get it???"
Here's an example: Mimi: Knock, knock
Mari: Who's there?
Mimi: Banana
Mari: Banana who?
Mimi: Banana in the sky! Ha Ha Ha Get it?.
She then proceeded to laugh herself silly. Now the real funny thing is this. When mom went to watch "The George Lopez Show" last night before going to bed, George and his best friend Ernie did the exact same knock knock joke word for word. Mom could not believe her ears since Mimi has never ever seen the show. Maybe we have a comic on our hands. Who knows???

EARLY RISER
Our Mimi has always been a early riser from the git go. This week since she is still on Virginia time, she's rising even earlier than usual. Yesterday she not only woke up mom and dad early, she decided to give her friends a phone call at 7:15 in the morning. First she called dad's office to let him know that he did not make her any breakfast before he left for work "dad, you forgot to make my dinner. Umm no breakfast." Next she called Erin's house. Erin was asleep so she talked with Liam. Then called Blake's and left a message. Thank goodness that mom had given them warning that something like this may happen and they all take it in stride. Both Keri and Janet thought that it was funny and cute that Mimi does this sort of thing. However mom did have a talk with Mimi and told her that should she wake up early she should play by herself and if she gets hungry there is food that she can get herself such as apples, cheese and so forth. Mom added that unless there is an emergency she is to not wake anyone up especially mom. Of course mom received the universal question of "WHY???" By this time mom was heaving a heavy sigh.
