INDOOR PLAYGROUND

Now that we are back to the rainy season, today was the first day Mimi went to the indoor playground. Although she is just a smidgen too old for it, she still likes to go because it is in a huge gymnasium and she could run around to her little heart's content. For a while she was playing with the cardboard building blocks making a tower (maybe there's a little architect or engineer in her) then along comes a group of big boys knocking it down. Mom could see that Mimi was getting a little irritated by this but did not say anything. This went on for a while, then mom noticed that Mimi had told the boys to stop knocking down her blocks and then she had the very same boys help her build the tower. What a woman our Mimi is!!! Next thing mom knew, Mimi had them chasing her all aroung the gym till it was time to clean up and go home for lunch.

WINTER OLYMPICS

We just finished with the summer olympics and the winter one is just around the corner. Almost in our backyard too! Mom just found out last night that the tickets go on sale starting today. Mom would really love to see the ice skating and dad would love to see the skiing. The last time we went to the winter olympics in Utah we were on the waiting list to go to China. Although we are on the waiting list again this time and have one chili pepper on hand, hopefully by the time the winter olympics roll around we will have 2 chili peppers to tote along with us.
