MIMI AND ZOE
Zoe is one of Mimi's new BFF's. They are also classmates. The teacher says that the only problem Mimi is having in school is her friends. It seems that they all fight over who gets to play with her. The teacher says that this is a common problem among 5 year olds.
OPEN HOUSE
Tonight is open house at Mimi's school. Here she is with dad checking over their checklist as to what Mimi needs to take us to see.
SUMMER'S OVER
Summer is definitely over up here in the northwest. This last Tuesday was the last day for the sunshine and boy howdy was it gorgeous. We are now in the cloudy, rainy season. While the leaves are falling off the other trees, mom's apple tree seems to be doing pretty darn good. Hopefully next year we will get some apples. They say that it takes about 2-3 years before the apples start to sprout. Since we are now having rain, the kids came over to the house and are goofing around in Mimi's room. Mom found out today from Brandy that Halle was feeling rather sad yesterday because all the kids went over to Blake's and she kind of got left behind. Brandy said that she had told Halle that they were not invited. Mom appologized to Brandy and Halle then explained the NO ONE ever asks. All the kids just blurt out "Mom! Can I go over to _____'s house?" or they call each other and ask if they could come over. They will also blurt out "MOM! Can so and so come over?" and the kids are always welcomed as long as the mom's are home. It's not quite like back home in So. Cal. Therefore mom told Halle that she needs to speak up or she will unintentionally get left behind. She went home in a happy mood.
MIMI AND HALLE
Today while Brandy spent the day going to the MD and SeaTac Airport to pick up her sis,Halle spent the day with Mimi going to gymnastic, post office and school. Both girls had a blast playing with each other. Halle and her family moved up here from the "O.C." in the beginning of September just before school started. Although Erin and Blake are her BFF's since the beginning, she has now 3 more new Bff's and they are Halle, Lindsey and Zoe. All but Erin and Lindsey (who are in the same class) are in the same class. Mimi is extremely happy with all of her friends cuz now they not only go to and from school together, they go to each other's homes after school and it's really cool that we can do that.
