DEAR SANTA.......

After taking Butch to the groomers, I went to get a couple of Christmas gifts and came upon this ornament. I cracked up laughing to myself. This soooo fits Mimi to a ''T'.

Up till now, Mimi still believes in Santa but will not take a picture with any Santa because according to her, the store Santa's are only the "fake" ones. The "real" Santa lives at the North Pole. I tell you, there is no fooling that girl.

LOST TOOTH

Good-bye baby tooth ole' pal 'o' mine. You had a good run. 7 years is a nice long time. This is the very first tooth that Mimi worked on getting out herself without the help of me or the dentist. However she did have a little help with the new permenant tooth that has already broken the gum line.

REMINANTS OF LAST NIGHT'S STORM

Today school was delayed for 2 hours because of the storm. So of
course as nature would have it, when it came time to head out, it
started to rain heavily and the wind started to kick up again pretty
hard. It was really hard getting Mimi to school in the stroller using
one good arm to push and the not so good arm holding one umbrella
while Mimi was holding hers. Meanwhile it was super windy and I was
beginning to feel like Mary Poppins floating up to the sky. Now that I
made it back home things have quieted down a bit.

FOUL WEATHER

Let's see......first we had blizzard like conditions in the beginning
oh this month. Then the snow melted and now we are having tons of rain
and flooding in some areas. Ventured out last Sunday and found a lake
where there is not supposed to be a lake. And mean a lake. Our house
is so well insulated that I did not even know we had a huge windstorm
last night till we got a call fr the school district at 6:00 this
morning saying that school will start 2 hours late. I guess I'll check
put any damage if any when the sun ces out.
