INTELLIGENT CONVERSATIONS

Morning conversations go as such:
Mimi: Mama, it's time to get up! The sun says "Hello Mimi, it's time to get up!"

Evening converstions go this way:
Mimi: Mama, you have to hurry up!! The sun is going down and the moon is coming up. The moon is going to bonk the sun out!!!

SH...... CARS ARE SLEEPING

Mimi became quite upset when I walked into her room unexpectedly yesterday. I was informed that her cars were sleeping. Mimi is really into cars lately. Loves watching her "CARS" dvd and goes to sleep with them every night. She even has mama giving them hugs and kisses before going to bed.

TRIP TO THE GROCERY STORE

Mama and Mimi went to the grocery store specifically to get some batteries. Of course we got everything BUT the batteries. This was our conversation on the way home:
Mama: Oh rats!!! I forgot to buy the batteries!!!
Mimi: Mama, you need to say CRAP!!
Mama: OK, HOLY CRAP!!!

MAMA'S EYE EXAM

Today was mama's first eye exam with a new doctor. The bad news is that mama has what is known as drusen. It is known as white spots in the macular lining of the eye. To have a few spots is normal as we get older. In mama's case, it can lead to macular degeneration. Mama now has to wear BIFOCALS!!! Also she has to wear her prescription sunglasses when going outside even when it is cloudy.

Mimi had loads of fun with her grandma and grandpa. Mama had a lot of fun too watching the Seahawks beat out the 49r's.

FAMILY FUN DAY CONTINUED

This evening, grandma and grandpa came over to join our family fun day with us and help celebrate our three year anniversary.
