Haven't written for quite some time now. This whole month was spent packing, birthday parties, graduation ceremony and farewell parties with all of our good friends. Will post the pictures at a later date. Have to get ready to go to Pacifica Montessori and give Mimi's teachers their gift of appreciation. They were just grrrrrreat! I hope we get lucky again when we get up to Washington. Then we are going to Greg's office for his farewell party at Mc Cormick & Schmick's

Househunting In Seattle
On Thursday May 3rd we all left for Seattle. The whole week long
Mimi kept telling everyone that we were going to Seattle to see her grandma and grandpa. The next day we spent the morning
looking for a new house and we found it quite fast!!!
Our new home has a living room, family room, four bedrooms,
garage access, 50 butt kitchen and fenced in backyard. Another
good thing about where we will live is that it is only a 10 minute drive to grandma's and grandpa's house. Also it only takes less
than 5 minutes to walk to her new school. You can see her school
from our backyard.
On Saturday, we took Mimi to look at the new house and the new
school she will be attending. The picture to the right is of Mimi
in the playground of her new school
We were soooo excited about our new home that we took grand-ma and grandpa to see it on Sunday morning. They were quite
pleased about our new house too.
We left for home this past Monday. The crew on Southwest
Airlines were so nice and they were quite taken with Mimi that
they let her take a picture in the
pilot's seat. I would not be
surprised if one day she flies the plane. She is already talking

LITTLE MISS BIG MOUTH
WE'RE LEAVING ON A JET PLANE
This past Monday was Mimi's last day at Pacifica Montessori. Yesterday we went to the school for her good-bye party. It was soooo nice of the kids to make cards with their messages for her. She was then able to say good-bye to "all of my children".
Tomorrow, Mimi and I will take Ollie and Stanley to the kitty cat hotel, then in the evening all of us will be on our way to Seattle to look for a new home.
We have been looking at homes on the internet up till now. It's enough to make your head swim!
A short while back, papa bought mama a new cell phone since I had to turn the one I had back to the office. I still have yet to figure out how to use the camera part of the phone. When I do, watch out! There will be more pics on this post.

ONE HOT POTATOE
This weekend mama had to go to work, so therefore papa stayed with Mimi,
Yesterday, I had called home to let papa know that I was on my way home. Papa asked if I could stop by our neighgbor Pauline's to pick up Mimi.
According to Mimi, she wanted to go over there to play with the twins Jen Jen and Michael aka "didi" because "they like me". Papa responded "What, like I don't?"Mimi then informed papa that he needs to "Play with mama". That's a loaded statement if you ask me. So therefore papa was dropped like a hot potatoe.
Today Mimi and papa went to the FCC picnic at Dougles Park in Santa Monica. While there, they met Elissa and her mom and dad, Marcia and Ben. Unfortunately papa did not bring the camera so there are NO PICTURES!
Papa will definetly not be able to live this down for a long, long time yet to come.

PAPA'S GOT A BRAND NEW..........TV
At 6:30 in the bleep bleep morning THIS MORNING Mimi decided to crawl into bed with us.
Mimi: Can I turn the tv on and watch Elmo?
Mama: (through her bleary eyes) Says NO.
Mimi: Why, is it broke?
Mama: YES
Mimi: What about the one downstairs?
Mama: YES, it's broke too.
Mimi; Well then, I just have to go and buy and new one.
Mama: How? You don't have any money.
Mimi: PAPA DOES!!!
