MORE ON PETE

The imaginary Pete went with us everywhere yesterday. He was even part of Mimi's show and tell at school. The teacher got a real big kick out of it.
When we got home last night Mimi found this old picture of Pete in her "briefcase" and now she carries this with her everywhere we go.
Mama still has some explaining to do when we go out and people see Mimi talking to Pete.

MORE OF SAMANTHA'S MAGIC

OMG! Are my ears deceiving me or what?! This afternoon at lunch, Mimi had informed mama that she no longer wants to play rough like the boys. She wants to play more gentle. She still likes wearing the red headband too. Keep that magic coming I say.

Not only did we aquire a (imaginary) horse yesterday by the name of Pete, unbeknownst to papa we aquired a whole herd of horses this morning while grocery shopping at the market.

MORE TALK ON SEX

Way back in February of this year, mama was in need of a day off so she asked papa to take Mimi and do some father/daughter bonding. Papa responded by saying that he had already done his bonding at 5:00 am when Mimi came into the room and wanted to know why Blake's family jewel is small. We wanted to know how she knew that he had a small one. Apparently a little more stuff was going on at his birthday party other than playing with toys so to speak.

Today she asked mama WHY are boys and girls different. She is definitely growing up way, way, way too fast for me.

K-I-S-S-I-N-G

Two little love birds sitting in a tree, k-i-s-s-i-n-g.......
This afternoon after coming home from shopping, out of the blue Mimi gave mama a kiss on each cheek. "That's my Hawaiian kiss" she says. Then she proceeded to give mama a full on lip lock kiss. "That's how married people kiss" the girl says.

Mama: Who told you that's how married people kiss?
Mimi: Blake.
Mama: Did you ever kiss Blake?
Mimi: Uh huh.
Mama: Oh really? Where?
Mimi: Out there (pointing to our backyard where the camping tent was until last Saturday).

Papa says that he will be calling our friend Terri for his box of rocks that he promised to send us when Mimi becomes a teenager. Mama has the feeling that we will be needing it a whole lot sooner maybe like tomorrow ya think?

PETE

This afternoon while shopping at North Bend I was informed by Mimi that we now have a new (imginary) horse in the family by the name of Pete. Pete went with us everywhere this afternoon as we went from store to store. The employees at each store got a real big kick out of Mimi and her horse Pete. Mama also had some explaining to do in the parking lot when people saw Mimi talking to herself.

I DO'S AND MAGIC

When Mimi and Samantha got married, Samantha promised to bring out the feminne side of Mimi and I think her magic is working from afar. Yesterday, on her own Mimi decided to wear the headband. Normally she wears her hair to what is known around our house as Einstein Head. Mimi has fine hair with short strands and it does not matter if it is combed because within a few minutes she looks like Einstein.
We are now getting ready to go to gymnastic school and she not only decided that she wants to wear the headband but a flowered ponytail too!!! Will wonders ever cease?! Mimi says that she is doing it because she "Wants to look pretty".
After class we will make the trip to North Bend outlet shopping center for dress shoes and a dress believe it or not.
Thank you so much Samantha. I hope that you can keep the magic coming our way. ;-)
