ONE HOT POTATOE

This weekend mama had to go to work, so therefore papa stayed with Mimi,
Yesterday, I had called home to let papa know that I was on my way home. Papa asked if I could stop by our neighgbor Pauline's to pick up Mimi.

According to Mimi, she wanted to go over there to play with the twins Jen Jen and Michael aka "didi" because "they like me". Papa responded "What, like I don't?"Mimi then informed papa that he needs to "Play with mama". That's a loaded statement if you ask me. So therefore papa was dropped like a hot potatoe.

Today Mimi and papa went to the FCC picnic at Dougles Park in Santa Monica. While there, they met Elissa and her mom and dad, Marcia and Ben. Unfortunately papa did not bring the camera so there are NO PICTURES!

Papa will definetly not be able to live this down for a long, long time yet to come.

At 6:30 in the bleep bleep morning THIS MORNING Mimi decided to crawl into bed with us.
Mimi: Can I turn the tv on and watch Elmo?
Mama: (through her bleary eyes) Says NO.
Mimi: Why, is it broke?
Mama: YES
Mimi: What about the one downstairs?
Mama: YES, it's broke too.
Mimi; Well then, I just have to go and buy and new one.
Mama: How? You don't have any money.
Mimi: PAPA DOES!!!

MIMI AND FRIENDS

Monday April 30 will be Mimi last day at Pacifica Montessori

School. So therefore today I brought the camera and video to

school and the teachers were nice enough to take pictures of Mimi and her friends.

PETER PAN

Mimi is now in her "Peter Pan" phase. She loves playing the part of Captain Hook. The hanger serves as her hook and the back scratcher is her sword.

Mimi has quite as imagination if I do say so myself.

Almost forgot to mention that her bed is the ship. Almost every night we have a dual. She is quite the little swashbuckler.

Mama: Mimi, why is it you don't like to wear dresses?
Mimi: Because you can't run in them, you have to walk. You can run in pants though.

Mimi just loves running everywhere. Her teacher Ms. Jacques says that Mimi has two speeds. Fast and Stop.

DISNEYLAND WITH SAMANTHA & CO

I've been under the weather all week but now I am finally posting these
pictures.

We went to Disneyland last weekend with our good friends Allyn, Teri and Samamtha for one last time before we move to Seattle. This picture of the girls and Goofy was taken at Yamabuki's on Saturday night. After dinner, Mimi and family went to California Adventureland and Mimi had a blast. It was the the first time she has ever seen the electric light parade.
She loved it. She waved to everyone as if she was in the parade herself.

The other night while I was cooking dinner, Mimi who is sittting on the counter in her cheesecake position says in her Mae West impersonation "Come here loverboy".

She got that from the Brother Bear movie she says. Maybe she is watching too much Disney, you think?

spent the whole day winery hopping tasting wine. mmm mmm good! then mimi, gini and dottie spent the afternoon at mc connell's ice cream shoppe for a snack while the boys took a nap. we all ended up at angelica's cafe for dinner yuuuuummmmmy!

today after breakfast, we will take mim to see the little mini ponies, then on to the chumash casino (the project greg worked on before leaving summit architects), then on home.

Tomorrow we leave for the wine country!!! woo hoo!!! It's been one looooong week. Last Tuesday, we had our first open house. We have a few offers already. So along with trying to keep the house clean and Mimi and school and Mimi and work and Mimi, I am really looking forward to this trip with our friends David and Gini.
